Los cambios en la visi\u00f3n suelen producirse en pasos impredecibles que pueden detectarse mediante ex\u00e1menes oculares peri\u00f3dicos. El uso frecuente de lentes de contacto en los adolescentes aumenta los riesgos de infecciones, da\u00f1os en la c\u00f3rnea y enfermedades, por lo que es m\u00e1s importante que algunos adolescentes acudan al m\u00e9dico m\u00e1s de una vez al a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La mayor\u00eda de los adolescentes y adultos j\u00f3venes tienen ojos sanos, pero aun as\u00ed necesitan cuidar su visi\u00f3n usando gafas protectoras cuando practican deportes, hacen trabajos de jardiner\u00eda o participan en otras actividades que podr\u00edan causar una lesi\u00f3n ocular.
