Si las cosas se ven borrosas o nubladas, <a href=\"http:\/\/premiermedicalgrp.com\/es\/services\/eye\/ophthalmology\/cataract-2\/\">cataratas<\/a> Podr\u00eda ser la causa. Aunque las cataratas son una de las causas m\u00e1s comunes de p\u00e9rdida de visi\u00f3n en adultos mayores de 40 a\u00f1os, la mayor\u00eda de los adultos desconocen esta afecci\u00f3n y los factores que ponen en riesgo su visi\u00f3n. Las cataratas, al igual que el glaucoma, suelen mostrar pocos o ning\u00fan signo de advertencia. Por eso es importante prestar atenci\u00f3n a los ojos: el hecho de que no vea un problema no significa que no lo haya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Aqu\u00ed hay algunas cosas que debe saber sobre las cataratas:<\/h4>\n<p><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 son las cataratas?<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las cataratas se forman cuando el cristalino natural dentro del ojo se vuelve turbio.<\/span> En un ojo sano, el cristalino, que ayuda a ver refractando los rayos de luz, es transparente. Pero a medida que se forma una catarata, la visi\u00f3n se vuelve borrosa o nublada, lo que dificulta la visi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><b>Signos y s\u00edntomas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Debido a que las cataratas se forman gradualmente, es posible que no note un cambio inmediato en su visi\u00f3n. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otros s\u00edntomas incluyen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sensibilidad a la luz<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visi\u00f3n doble<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incapacidad para ver colores brillantes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Factores de riesgo<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se desconoce qu\u00e9 causa las cataratas.
