Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty – Nose surgery that reshapes the nose to improve its appearance and proportion

Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is performed to reshape the nose to improve its appearance and proportion, or in some cases, to correct a breathing problem.

While the shape of your nose is usually inherited, an accident or injury may have altered its appearance. In both instances, rhinoplasty can enhance and improve the width, size, and shape of the nose to achieve facial harmony and improve your profile.

Nose surgery may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural abnormalities in the nose. Obstacles in the nasal breathing pathway can be removed to create lower resistance to incoming and exiting air through the nostrils.

Most people are candidates for rhinoplasty, however, a consultation with your otolaryngologist will determine your suitability for the procedure.
